A-level Bio notes

I'm going to be doing A-level Biology in sixth form and I have come across the A-level notes on Cognito. I'm wondering if anyone has used them previously and if they're any good memorising for exams?

Hi there! Cognito is a relevantly new and an exceptional platform for biology revision and I'd say they are definitely good memorising for exams. However, don't forget that you will only gain higher grades by doing lots of practice papers in the end of the day.

Hi there, I just did AS biology and going to A2 next year (I did the Edexcel syllabus). Notes are good, but are in no way that much of a game changer. It’s important to understand content, but focus on exam skills more. I suggest after doing a topic at school, read through the topic again so you understand the information (where you may use Cognito for sure), and then find past paper questions of the topic and learn the markscheme. Learn the type of information the markscheme wants and how to write your answer out. It makes much more of a difference! Good luck!
