Will my English grade hold me back?
I got 5 nines, 3 eights and 2 sixes.
I'm just wondering if the 6 I got in literature will cause any problems for me with future University applications. I think my 8 in language should be enough though. Especially as I'm looking at studying engineering.

Unis usually only ask for Eng Lang and Maths GCSE grades as specific subjects - and many Unis/subjects/course have no specific GCSE requirements at all.
Some Unis do use a 'score' for your overall GCSE profile as part of their overall assessment, but this is usually only 'top 5' etc, and therefore one slightly lower grade isnt going to make any difference at all. Focus on your A level grades - they matter far more than one GCSE.
