What type of person do you have to be to study a pharmacy degree?

I have been in and out of university as I cannot find something that I really want to do as a career or something that I`m passionate about. I have been looking into pharmacy and it seems interesting, like something I could possibly do in the future. But I`m not sure that I can handle it as I have heard its a difficult degree to do. Although I lack ambition I am good academically but I have very little " Real World " experience, so can I do this?

For Pharmacy you have to like organic chemistry - and be interested in helping other people.
If you are not sure about the last bit, get yourself a p/time job in a customer service role (retail, hospitality) or just volunteer in a charity shop or for friends of your local hospital etc. Pharmacy interviews will always include some 'how to deal with difficult people' questions so its definitely worth doing.

If you are more interested in drug development than prescribing drugs, then look at Pharmacology or Medicinal Chemistry - Choosing between Pharmacy and Pharmacology (bath.ac.uk)
