Is this normal?

When masturbating I noticed that only really the top of my glans becomes visible, like my foreskin won't retract much lower. Is this normal, and is this a problem. It retracts fine when I'm flaccid as I regularly clean it. My erections are not painful.

Should I retract my foreskin as far down as I can when putting a condom on? Like i said it doesn't naturally retract very far

You don't need to retract your foreskin to use a condom. Do whatever feels comfortable for you.

according to condom packers you should though, and like I said when I haven't I've had like zero sensation and lost my erections

If you're concerned I'd suggest you visit your GP. From your original post you said that you couldn't retract your foreskin when erect, but in the last one you said that if you don't you have no sensation and lose your erections - so I'm unsure what you are asking now!

before when i've used condoms, i haven't retracted the foreskin, and during intercourse, i felt close to nothing and lost erections. i thought the lack of sensation might just be because i'm wearing a condom but my experiences of sex didn't seem to resonate with other people. i probed an ED diagnosis, but as i can get hard when masturbating, have relatively high levels of testosterone, and also didn't see mcuh of a difference when using sildenafil, i think ED might not be the answer to losing the erection, but rather having no sensation could cause the loss of an erection, and the reason for lack of sensation could be not rolling the foreskin back when putting the condom on.

Clearly there is less sensation when using a condom. Have you tried different brands and the ultra thin condoms? Try different condoms when you masturbate to find one that works for you and has the least impact to sensation. I hope this helps a bit.
