LSE Accounting and Finance

hello guys! I want to study accounting and finance at LSE but do biology chemistry maths and further maths. I don’t take economics but they do not ask for it in the requirements. They do, however, prefer an essay subject. Am I at a disadvantage with these subjects?? Also does taking further maths help me in any way in this case or can I drop it? Thank you ))

Your subject combo is fine as long as your personal statement is good. Keep further maths if it doesnt effect your grades in other subjects

thank you so much for your reply. I want to drop fm because it’s lowkey hard and I spend sm time on it but I will keep it if it will help me get in, do you think it would?
I think dropping either chemistry or biology would be more logical as further maths and maths go well together but maybe discuss with a teacher to get a second opinion

Drop Biology if you must since Chemistry is highly quantitative which the LSE loves.

Further Maths is loved by the LSE and will make you a stronger applicant.

But given 40% of applicants will have 4 A-Levels, then you should consider continuing all 4 A-Levels perhaps?

Also, for the LSE, they place a huge emphasis on the UCAS Personal Statement and you should really write a 'stellar' UCAS Personal Statement to impress the admissions tutors.
