Declined offer help

I got an offer for a course at uni of Southampton I wanted to study through clearing. I had a verbal offer and they told me what to do. In an email after I sent what needed to be sent they said you have two things left to do. They declined my offer on ucas as I did send one thing late which was on Tuesday so it was one day late but I’m baffled at what happened. I don’t have any other places to go as I declined them for this offer and this is what I wanted. Shall I call them to see what happened maybe they didn’t receive what I was told to send. Please someone help me I feel so helpless and angry. I feel like I just want to give up with everything this makes zero sense. It’s not fair at all. They said there’s nothing left for you to do once I showed them proof of my grades I just had something left to fill out. There has to be something they can do please please please

You write, "They declined my offer on ucas as I did send one thing late" and "it was one day late". So, just for the avoidance of doubt, do you agree that they set a deadline for you to provide some information, and you didn't meet that deadline?

I'd so, why are you "baffled at what happened"? They gave you a deadline to do something. You missed that deadline. They therefore withdrew the offer of the place, which was conditional on you doing both of those things before the deadline.

In the kindest way possible, this is on you. They offered you a place subject to conditions. You did not meet those conditions by handing your document in your document late. So it absolutely is fair. This is how it would work if you were offered a place subject to certain grades, and then you didn’t meet that. You had an offer if you met their criteria, which you then didn’t meet.

There’s no harm in giving them a call and checking if anything can be done, but don’t go in claiming its not fair. Take responsibility for missing the deadline, explain that, and pray. Clearing is still open for other places.

No they didn’t give me a deadline they only gave me a dead line for a petting the offer and I did that way before. I called and they said provide these two things whenever you can. The a pet of deadline was on Friday. I accepted way before. And I provided the stuff on Monday but they didn’t receive it so I re provided.

They didn’t give me a deadline the deadline was only for accepting the offer. They said that I didn’t meet the requirements but i actually revived an email from the admissions saying they checked everything and that I do meet the requirements. They said I told them something else which is very much not true. So no I don’t think it is fair to say I meet them and they checked them to say they confirm I meet them.

Perhaps it's just your explanation of what happened that's confusing then. You wrote above, "I did send one thing late" and "it was one day late". Yet now you're saying that nothing was late.

If you met any deadline they gave you, and provided all the requested information on time, then call them up and ask, given that you've done everything they've asked of you, when they asked you do to it, why they have withdrawn the offer.
Have you actually referred your application to them via UCAS, and if so, what is Hub currently saying?

Yes and they confirmed everything and sent me an email saying the status won’t change until I send those things and I did. Maybe they never saw the form I sent them.

So just contact them with details of whenever you sent them the form. It's in your sent items, right?

Yes. But they saying it’s because my gardes differ from what I told them. So I’m just going to contact them as this makes no sense. Thank you for you help though 😊
