FM a level for LSE

Hi I want to go to LSE for uni but because of my GCSEs, I couldn’t do further maths at my school (I got an 8, and in my school you need a 9). Am I now completely screwed? I know it depends on the course at LSE but I feel like without it I won’t get accepted no matter what course :frown: I’m going to take geography, maths and economics, and was going to take further maths or at least AS but now I can’t. I don’t think I can beg my school to do it, will I just get flat out rejected now 😭

Try ask again if you can take further maths in person, if they dont let you, you can self study further maths.

You wont be rejected for not having further maths but it will put you at a disadvantage. However, people have gotten offers who did not take further maths so you definitely have a chance especially if you do well in the TMUA (I’m guessing ur applying to economics) and have good predicted grades and personal statement
