University of Bath Room Swap- 2024

I have just been allocated to an en-suite in John Wood Building and I was wondering if there is anyone, who currently has been allocated an en-suite in Green Park House, that would be willing to swap with me?

The en-suites at John Wood Building are larger hence why they are more expensive and have more storage space available with an additional floor shelf, an ottoman and another set of drawers separate from the desk as well as a bed side table. Its also located nearer to the train station.
For anyone interested, please do reply as soon as possible, I would really really really appreciate it.

Hey, I got john wood building too, why do you want to swap?
I also got John Wood Building, but does anyone know what colour the walls are, because the website shows blue, green or red ones. I want to start buying things for my room but I don’t want to be stuck with a horrible colour scheme

Green Park House was my first choice and I feel like it offers much more for less money than John Wood Building. Whilst I am pleased to get an en-suite, the bathroom at John Wood offers no storage whatsoever eventhough the room is more expensive.

It might be worth emailing ResLife to ask about the colour of the wall for your specific room as they seem to vary from room to room.
i heard that john wood building was getting renovated this year, do you know if this is true?
Also where can I find more info about the accommodation, the uni website isnt too detailed.

I have a Green Park ensuite and JWB was my first choice so I am interested. Do you know how we can arrange this swap with the uni?

This is such a perfect situation!

how do you find your accomodation allocation

If you login into the Accommodation Services Portal using your details that you should have received a while back via email, you will be able to see and accept the room you were allocated.

To those of you who have been allocated Green Park, are you 1st year students? I have also been allocated Green Park - my sixth choice - and wanted to be on campus. Just wondering how many 1st year students are likely to be there - does anyone have any idea?

I believe it will be mostly 1st years as university accommodation tends to only be for 1st years unless there are medical reasons and Green Park House is for undergraduates specifically.
If anyone with an en-suite at Green Park House would like to swap with me for one at John Wood Building, please let me know!
is anyone on the 4th floor for john woods building
