Fee status

I'm not from the UK and moved here 5 years ago from Pakistan and I've been under the impression that having ILR means I'll qualify for home fees status. My parents will get ILR in 6 months btw. However, LSE says ILRs obtained after 2022 are not enough to make someone eligible for home fees. https://www.lse.ac.uk/study-at-lse/international-students/fee-status-classification

Is it true that for non-UK citizens, having ILR and having lived here for 3 yrs is enough to qualify for home fees? Or is the criteria different for certain unis? Is citizenship necessary or is ILR enough to be eligible for home fees? The unis I wish to apply for include: Birmingham, UCL, Manchester and KCL
Hi GCSE_Student0,

As long as you hold Indefinite Leave to remain prior to the first day of the first academic year of the course along with 3 years lawful residency in the UK, you should be eligible.

If you have made an application, our assessors will confirm this with you based on your previous status and residency.

The university may have different regulations from ourselves however, you should be eligible for full funding based on what you have advised.

Thanks, Clare
