Will a medical uni ring up my nursing home for proof?

I volunteered at a nursing home for 2 months but I don’t think they particularly liked me much because I had an incident with one of the residents, they tried to get up off their wheelchair but accidentally fell on the sofa then on the floor. Luckily a nurse checked them and they were ok but I don’t think it’s left a good impression on the staff. Will a medical uni actually ring up the nursing home to ask how I’ve been? Or will me putting their contact details be enough proof for them.

Lol. I doubt they'll be phoning up but also, falls are common in nursing homes so I don't see why the staff would judge you for this. Are you leaving out some details? :p:

Maybe because I have had no experience with handling elderly patients, but this is the first time where I helped them get up and they fell

Okay, I mean, to answer your question, I don't think medical schools have the time to phone up every applicant's place of work experience or volunteering so this is probably something you're overthinking. Even if they did, I doubt the nursing home would disclose the details of what sounds like an accident.

Thank you, yeah I tend to overthink thinks a lot. Genuinely was a mistake but I hope they don’t go to the uni if they do call “yeah this guy is the worst, you don’t want him” lol
