UCAT Score 2800, SJT Band 3. Is there a chance for me at a uni like UCL?

Hi,
Basically not sure whether I should apply to UCL for medicine. I know I have a decent chance at QMUL however UCL would be my first choice so I wanna know if thats out the window for me.

Hey I’m in a similar situation - scored 2960, B3. Just wondering if you had any replies from anyone in another thread? (to save me hunting for it)

Thanks for replying, and thanks! I ended up doing crazy well on AR which was previously one of my worst. Also - I put my stats in the ‘which med school’ mega thread and got some good responses so you could try that?
I am in the same situation ☹️ 2990 and band3. Please do let me know if you find further information on shortlisting Unis

bro my 2 best sections were VR and DM (dont ask me why) and i ended up fumbling those 2 but getting much higher than expected on the other 2. Guess i just got lucky with questions lol. Also yeah I think imma do that. I know its not about the uni and more about the degree but im worried medicine might get too much for me and should I want to switch I dont wanna do another course at some dead uni lmfao

Any references in their website please? They mentioned they will look at overall UCAT score but I am not sure if that involves SJT or not (https://www.ucl.ac.uk/medical-school/study/undergraduate/mbbs-admissions/entry-requirements)

Hi! If UCL is your first choice for medicine, it's definitely worth applying, especially if you have a strong academic profile. UCL can be competitive, but if your grades, personal statement, and UKCAT/BMAT scores are solid, you’ve got a chance. Applying to QMUL as a backup is a great idea since it increases your chances, but don't count yourself out for UCL just yet. Always aim high!
