Unis that are good for both Art and autistic support?

I’m starting y13 in a week and, as post suggests, am looking to do a BA in Fine Art or Art & Design and have been diagnosed autistic. While I have lower support needs, my autism means that I sometimes struggle with my mental health and feelings of overwhelm, and may need things breaking down for me or additional support while at university.
My AS results were AAAA, so, while I’ve not received predicted grades yet, I’m expecting them to be between A and A*.
I’m pretty confident in Loughborough as my first choice, and would like to stay away from Oxbridge and the central London universities.
Any recommendations for places with a good reputation for art and good support? Any info about the local area and campus/city vibe would also be much appreciated )
I'm going to aru to do animation illustration. They also have a fine art course or an illustration course. So far the help I've recieved before even going has been amazing. I'd also suggest applying for DSA as this includes accomodation in class.

Hey there @hwh1tl0w29

I am a student with ASD and I was thinking it would be worth commenting about the student experience. I found that my university have been very helpful with my studies by giving me extra opportunities and quieter classes. It is important to maybe see if you can find a university which would be incredibly supportstive and helpful with your direct needs and concerns.

I hope this helps! Brandon - Student Rep

Hey! I studied art at Loughborough and have diagnosed ADHD. So so so many people on that course were neurodivergent and the course leads/ general support teams at Loughborough were very well equipped and helpful when it came to providing support to students with autism and other needs. They also gave me first choice at choosing accom due to my needs and offer quiet blocks if that’s also something you’ll find helpful! I think that Loughborough is an amazing first choice
