It really depends on you and your situation. What are you getting at the moment? What subjects are you struggling at more? Do you know how/why you're struggling? How are you revising? Are you focussing on your weaker topics? Are you splitting your revision time each day into short bursts of different subjects? For example, you can spend hours and hours rereading the textbook, making notes etc. but still not get an 8/9 in science because 1) you're not actively recalling information so you can remember it and 2) you're not applying your knowledge.

There becomes a point where it doesn't matter how long you're revising for, as long as you're doing a decent amount of good revision where you're going over your weaker topics and actively answering questions. Start small (like maybe only 30 mins/1 hour a day) then gradually build it up towards exams - although if you really want a number, 2/3 hours per day nearer my exams worked out. Just so long as you're revising effectively.

To be honest, I was not revising all throughout the year and my gcses still worked out (I got all A*s and 1 A) it really depends on how good you are at studying in my opinion. I revised before all 3 of my mocks and because of my school that meant I was revising every 2 months in year 11, and then I began daily revision like 2 weeks before exams began (real gcses). Honestly, if you're struggling keep up the revision but don't tire yourself out because you need the drive for your real exams too.
Btw I did my gcses this year 🙂

I would suggest try setting yourself an amount of revision time per day based on how much work you set yourself - throughout year 11, the main goal is to try and keep on top of your work and make effective revision resources you can rely on for when you have an exam/mock. So you could do this by making a to-do list of what topics/flashcards/exam questions you want to go through and then see long you want to give yourself each day to complete them. It's also really good to spend time on subjects you're struggling in so you can get better on your weaker points.

Good luck!
