Choosing A-levels

Guys I need some advice I chose bio chem but for my third option I chose psychology I didn't do a level maths that means that I have to do Core maths its basically AS Maths. And I want to do EPQ as well is it worth doing psychology with Core Maths or do A-levels maths which is extremely difficult alongside with bio chem

Right, this kind of lack context.

What career or degree do you intend to do? What are their specific entry requirements?
Why do you specifically need to do A Level Maths? Why should you not do A Level Maths would you end up doing Core Maths instead?

As far as i know core maths isnt as level maths, its maths skills for science subjects. Some sixth forms have students who are not taking a levels maths take this if they’re doing science subjects so they can develop this maths skills- is this the case?
If you’re asking if bio/chem/psych plus core maths and an epq is a good combo it depends on the degree you’re wanting to pursue. Overall, i would say its a good combo if you can handle the workload of doing 3 a levels, core maths and the epq. It’s very strong for applying to something in biosciences, medicine, psychology etc i would say.
But as @MindMax2000 said you need to give a bit more context really

I wanna do medicine in queens Mary or imperial I'm trying hard for a levels because I didn't get the best GCSE results. I'm gonna start from the first day and do 6 hours each day.

I'm starting Sixth form tomorrow and am also doing similar subjects like you (Bio,Che,Lit and German) in order to study medicine. I was considering Core Maths too. From the advice given to I would say avoid overworking yourself (at least not this early) so as not to burn out. I think 1-2 hours a day are a good start, but then again I'm just starting A Levels🙂

Is EPQ worth it for medicine I heard u can talk about it in your medicine Interviews. Some people say that if u want to do it do it in your first year as it's easier cuz the 2nd year is stressful. But I don't know what to talk Abt. Especially with bio, chem, psychology and core maths will I get time for EPQ. I'm also resitting eng lang cuz got a 5 but I need a 6 if I want to go to imperial college. So my plan is to revise for A levels alongside GCSE eng lang until November because that's when I'm sitting the exams. And after my eng lang exams I'm gonna try find work experience, volunteer work and do EPQ and I should be done with EPQ by February/March. Is this plan worth it?
