Academic integrity and postgrad studies

Right to cut a long story short. I have a previous academic integrity conviction (if thats the right word) from the tail end of second year, I'm looking at applying for postgrad studies but wondering if there is any point of doing so with that in the past?
It would be worth having with a chat with your personal tutor about whether there will be a note about this on your transcript, as well as what the uni’s policy is with regards to giving you an academic reference.

Outside of those two things, (in the UK at least), nothing else is really communicated as part of a postgraduate application.
