dentistry scotland

Hi for my sqa Highers i got AACC, im looking to do dentistry in scotland only and i also qualify for LEAPS.im taking 2 more highers this year plus ADV H bio. presuming i got AA for the highers and a B in adv H do i have a chance of getting in as i know someone who applies to dentistry in Gla who got AABBC for highers and she got in with those grades and no Adv Highers.
Be best of asking Glasgow and really trying to rack up super extra curriculars ( things you do in your own time that will relate to dentistry)

The entry requirements for Glasgow Uni Dentistry are notoriously difficult for 2025 entry, due to more and more applicants. If you qualify for Widening Access, AAABB Higher + B Advanced Higher (AABB S5 minimum for consideration to include Higher Biology/Human Biology and Higher Chemistry at grades A/B or B/A)
Unfortunately, even with the below-minimum entry requirements, you don't qualify for consideration. Your best options, realistically, would be to talk to your career advisor, maybe go to college and sit your Highers with Bs again? You need to contact the university and talk to them.
It's highly unlikely that someone got into the Dentistry course without AHs, knowing how competitive it is.

Hi there,

We cannot guarantee an offer just by meeting the requirements, however, applicants who do will have a strong chance of entry on to the programme. As we are a competitive institution, we advise all students to ensure they’ve read and understood our requirements and meet all mandatory subjects.

Full information on our admissions policy can be found here - https://www.gla.ac.uk/undergraduate/entryrequirements/guidance/#
