Which RG unis to apply to with ABB predicted for law degree?

I have looked at UCAS' historic entry data for offers given and some good Russel Group unis that say they require AAA have accepted as low as BCC before, and I've read that this data doesn't include clearing grades or contextual offers so would it be worth applying? Also, is Exeter really lenient with law, and what about Warwick? I got ABB predicted and I don't want to apply to mid unis, I would rather try my luck now and if I fail to get an offer, then go through clearing. Is that a good plan or should I just apply to unis with lower grade requirements that I can just get into in clearing anyway, like Surrey?

I was also wondering if it is easier to get an offer for a joint Law degree?

I have heard that top London law firms prefer if you went to a top Russel group and did a non law degree rather than if you did Law at a mid uni, so if I go into clearing and find a good uni that offers a course like Politics and IR, i might do that and then do a conversion course, but the only thing is that I am worried it might be too expensive and I could lose interest in Law by that time.
say they require AAA have accepted as low as BCC before

This is why this data is totally misleading - and no way to choose Universities to apply to.
The BCC does not mean that 'this Uni accepted everybody who got BCC in August' or that 'this Uni made an offer to everyone with BCC predictions'.

A few people were accepted with lower grades. And those will be people who had mitigating circumstances, were part of special access schemes, mature students and other exceptional applicants. It does NOT mean that you can apply with BCC predictions and get an offer, or achieve those grades and be accepted.

Honest advice?
Ignore this data and just look at the stated entry requirements.

Thanks for your reply,

I looked on the UCAS website and they said that the data doesn't include contextual or clearing offers?

I would recommend giving it a try. You may try applying to RG unis like Sheffield, Exeter, Southampton, or Nottingham. Even if you do not receive an offer for law, you may be offered alternative courses like criminology, politics and philosophy. But you will need a really strong PS. Presuming that you will receive higher grades than your predicted grades ABB. In 2022, I was predicted AAA, and the entry requirement for law at UoN was A*AA, but I still received an offer, although the requirement remains that I achieve A*AA in my final results. I worked really hard and received A*A*A in the end. So, it's not impossible.
