did you finish the work you had to do last night?

At 3:30 am. And the teacher hasn't looked at it yet anyway.

I'll just go to bed at 9:30 today and get 10 hrs of sleep to make up for the four.

How was History?

Alright - finished at 3:30am which was pretty harrowing. The teacher didn't check it but I think doing the work was needed as we discussed it in depth in class. You will not believe the class size I have for A-Level history.

Hi everyone, my name is… anonymous (or sdfj if you prefer).
I’ve seen so many people do this so I thought I should too.
Education profile:
I go to an all boys school and staying at the same school for sixth form.
Doing A-Levels in Maths, Chemistry, Economics and History (about 50-50 chance I’ll drop one in December but finger crossed I won’t have to).
GCSEs: 7 9s, 3 8s and an A (top grade in add maths) - overall pretty happy although I have a good chance of remarking 2 and getting 9 9s 1 8 and an A but I’ll find out some time in September.
Other stuff about me:
I have a serious procrastination issue - basically slacked off from March in my GCSE year so I consider myself lucky. I’m hoping blogging my studies on TSR is a good way to help this issue - surely I can’t lie on or disappoint TSR 😮
This is my first time doing a gyg thread so any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Currently, history and law are the front runners for uni courses, but right now, I could go into maths or stem (probably not things like medicine but…) but that’s some time away so I won’t think about it more. Hopefully I could go to Oxbridge - but maybe my grades aren’t good enough.

Nice, best of luck with your a levels.

8!!! It’s amazing but there must’ve been some sort of error - or that history was undersubscribed and there are too many teachers for too few students.

😲 that's not a lot, congrats

My Sociology class is 20.

That’s lower than most of my old GCSE classes but my A-Level ones are all around 15.

Loads of people joined sociology last minute. 14 were expected.

End of the week :woo:

Work for this weekend: A lot of history reading, maths revision for a non-calc test and an exercise for homework, economics and analysis. Hopefully a total of 6 hours so I can comfortably finish it over the weekend.

I thought it was surprisingly little but I guess I have different standards after preparing for quite the ‘challenge.’ Dunno what I’m thinking really.
