That test was god-awful - I won't be scoring over 25/50 sadly. Dunno why they make it so difficult. And everyone finds it this hard. Apparently everything was only FSMQ material but that's just not a fair comment when every question is so difficult... Anyway, on to the next test which is differentiation so will hopefully be less stupendously impossible for me,
Ok so AS trig test is tomorrow and I really gotta do well...

Biology test was easy. Got full marks on Maths. But Chem and Further Maths were disappointing :cry2:
Don't be like me. You can do better. :pizza:

I'm sure you'll do fine. :pizza:

I've done it and 'fine' is generous

You'll have done reasonably well. :hat2: :pizza:

@Mr_Pizza, you were correct. 68% so slightly better than expected but the score isn't good regardless. I got 5 marks in a question I thought I got wrong which is why it isn't like 58, but I'm a bit annoyed my teacher didn't allow my different working even though it wasn't really a trial and error method and I got the solution correct.

One piece of homework for Thursday and one for Friday - pretty sure that that is a record low. But I have 5 maths ones for next week and another test on AS differentiation - lovely.

Honestly you got better than I did in my most recent physics test so it's pretty good! And you know in actual exams they would count it so it's just your teacher being dumb 😭

It is what it is. I'm at a low point in my life right now, but for some reason I'm being a couch potato, letting it all swim away. (Don't worry, I'm fixing it within due time).
Well done sdfj, you got above 50%. That's above breaking point. Now you need to work that up to 75%, then 80% then 90%, then hopefully 100% on that topic. Climb your way to the top using the safer, more-manageable, little steps.:pizza:

Hey, at least you got 68%! 🙌 That’s a bit better than you thought, so that’s a win! 🎉 I get why you’d be annoyed though—5 marks are still something, and if your working out made sense, it’s kind of unfair that the teacher didn't accept it.
It's frustrating when they stick to strict rules, especially when you actually got the right answer. Just keep pushing through; you’ll nail the next one! Got any plans to revise for the next test?

Hi guys and welcome back to @Geo Lover 7 :wavey:

Had a differentiation test on Monday which was fab - I thought I’d get a really mean question for using first principles to prove a derivative but it was just 5x^3 luckily. Hopefully looking at 42/50+ but not being too optimistic but definitely an improvement from the 68% before.

Also, not as much homework for the last few days of half time which is lovely but I also have to sit in St Paul’s Cathedral for 2 hours on Friday which will be so boring. Feeling really unwell though and which isn’t really helping :frown: 5k compulsory cross country tomorrow but not sure whether I’ll be well enough to do it.

When is half term?
And
Why do you need to go to St Paul's Cathedral on Friday?
Hope you feel better soon.
