HELP! Am I late to apply for Tuition Fee Loan?

I only recently got told to apply to the Tuition Fee Loan and it is the end of August… When speaking to other students from other schools they let me know their school informed them of doing so, and many applied in March/April. However my sixth form never warned any of us before and many of us are in the same situation, I recently applied however I am worried I will not get it in time for the beginning of university.

I understand this is totally my fault and I should’ve done my research instead of depending on my sixth form but i’m worried sick and unsure what to do…

As long as you inform your uni that You have applied for it, it shouldnt be too much of a problem. Maybe call the student finance team of your uni to ask them of what to do. But usually unis receive the money like mid october so your application should be aprivwd beforw that.
If you applied for maintanence loan tho then it mught be delayed so be prepared to fund ypurself for the first month until u get the maintanence loan.
But do call the student finance team of the uni u are going to and explain your situation and ask for their advice

Get your application in as soon as possible. Make sure you also apply for a maintenance loan if you need to pay for accommodation and support yourself through uni.
