help have my gcses ruined my future

My GCSEs did not go the way I wanted to; most of my grade 7s I was expecting 9s.
My GCSEs are 9877766655
I’ve completely scrapped oxbridge off the list because of them which genuinely upset me to do because I had such high hopes for myself but I’m still hopinggg to get into law at ucl or kings but it’s just stressing me out so much I’m losing sleep.
I got 7 in English language and 6 in maths and both unis have an entry requirement of 6.
Pleaaassseeee be honest if I get A*AA (which I’m predicted) and have a strong personal statement/LNAT score do I have a chance?

I’m not an expert in Law applications but I think the universities which take the LNAT (or any admissions test)into consideration value it very highly!! They take a holistic view of your application and factor in how good your gcses are for the school you went to, as well as for your postcode. That said, your gcses are still decent, but I’s definitely put down a safety school or two, and also ask someone at your school for advice. I think maybe trying to increase your predictions to A*A*A would help as it would show progression. Although many ask for a*aa as an entry requirement, people will likely have slightly higher for predictions, then the unis would still probably ask you to meet the a*aa grades nonetheless
They are a really good set of GCSE results - dont be disheartened. You have achieved the 6 in maths and English so you are all set. Focus on your A levels and so some super-curricular activities to show that you are keen on Law

You are predicted anything yet - these might be your targets but you haven't done any A level study yet!
