Evidence cover letter

I've been sent an email asking for an Evidence cover letter.
Ref applying for special support maintaince loan.
It says to download from my account, but there's no link there to do so.
What is a Evidence cover letter?
What do I need to do?
Student finance when I phoned them were unsure also.

We don't need the cover letter, so please ignore that part.
So, for the Special Support Loan, you need to provide evidence of any disability or income-related benefits that you receive. Do you receive anything like this?

Yes, I uploaded my PIP evidence and my DR eceb did a signed letter to say my evidence was valid and I had a disability, I've just received the full maintenance loan, but there's no mention of my SSL anywhere and student finance in the phone don't understand why. What should I do? Anxious.
