University courses advice-economics

So I’m applying this year for econ, but I recently did a work experience at a bank and honestly, really liked it. I’ll be applying to some degree apprenticeships in banking in London because of that but that’s now made me question whether straight econ is right for me. I genuinely really like both finance and economics, and would seriously consider doing a joint honours degree if I had the flexibility to pick econ and finance modules I like the most, but I’m not sure. The ideal degree for me would be something like economics with finance but only QUB offer that .

Would doing an economics degree give me flexibility to do a fair few optional modules in things like derivatives, financial reporting, etc if I wanted to?

And also, would applying to imperials econ, finance and data science be worth it considering I’m fairly neutral towards all things computer science but do enjoy maths, and would probably want to mostly do econ , finance and applied maths modules ?

Its annoying because I’ve gone from going for econ to liking both econ and finance equally, so it really depends what I get accepted on in terms of uni courses and degree apprenticeships as I have a range of options that I have different levels of interest in.
