Hi @Lizziedripping, Congratulations to your daughter on being accepted into LJMU! 😊

There is a wide variety of accommodations available in Liverpool, all of which are different in some way. In terms of recommendations, it is really down to where your daughter would like to be living (City centre or abit further out) or how many people she would like to share a flat with and also how much she is willing to pay. A list of all approved accommodations by LJMU can be found using this link https://www.ljmu.ac.uk/discover/your-student-experience/accommodation/search. Here you can find everything you need to know such as location, price per week, amenities, and photographs of how rooms look etc.

Move in is usually at the start of September. Not every accommodation will have the same move in date but you can expect it to be anywhere from the 1st onwards. Once accommodation is booked you will be sent all the information you need about moving in dates.

I hope this information has answered your question and helped you and your daughter to start looking for accommodation!

Thanks, Matt 🙂

I've just applied for the MSc Advanced Clinical Practice Degree Apprenticeship, and I'm a little confused. I get that I have to find my own employer, but how do I find an appropriate employer that will allow me to do an apprenticeship? The LJMU website said to use the GOV website to find relevant apprenticeships, but the requirements say that I'm not supposed to be in education while applying, so I'm confused. Is there any employer anyone could recommend for me to apply to, please?
