A Level German 2025-2026

Hi,

I'm starting year 12 in the next few days and I think I might be the only one in my year doing German A-Level. I was just wondering if anyone else was doing it, starting in year 12 in September 2024. I'd like to know someone else is sharing a similar experience!
The film I will study is Goodbye Lenin and the book is Der Vorleser.
I got a 9 at GCSE with 100%.

What are you struggling with in terms of grammar?
If you try listening to podcasts or YouTube videos on a slower speed, that might help your listening!

Ah we also did a listening today about Familie im Wandel, I thought it went well. We used quite old audio player machines that we’ll be using in the exams!

Heyyy, I'm also doing in German. It's good to know I'm not the alone. In my school we haven't got a teacher to teach me so I've got to do it independently with the aid of another school

Wow that’s quite a challenge! What book and film are you studying (if you do it with AQA)
