Paramedic or nursing

Hi, so this week I have just received the news that I failed my pharmacy year one by just 8 marks on one exam… throughout the year I have gained 70% everywhere else and it was just this one exam that stopped me. I am not sure whether I should retake the year or change course (I was thinking paramedic, nursing or forensic science… the first two which I have been talking about all year). I am just asking for some advice and maybe a bit of how do I change courses before the year starts?

Hi. I actually changed courses myself. There are two ways to do that:

1.

You should ask if it’s possible to make a course transfer within your university. If it is, then it should be an easier way for you.

2.

You can apply for a chosen course through UCAS. It will be a whole new application for the course (where you’d choose 5 universities to apply to) just like you already did before. If you choose this option don’t forget to rewrite your personal statement 😊
