starting sixth form practically alone

so im starting sixth form college next week and i stopped talking to most people over the summer, and only one person im still sort of friends with is going to the same sixth form as me but we're not doing any of the same courses
im really nervous about making friends and where to sit and stuff like that so is it possible for me to make a whole new set of friends? because it's a sixth form college it's big - there's around 1000 people in each year and people from different schools, but most people already have friend groups from secondary (from what i've seen at taster days and enrolment) which worries me

Im literally in the same position I'm also in a sixth form college and have no friends after a MONTH I miss my secondary school friends😢 hopefully it gets better.

ive made friends in lessons but no one to hang out with yk
