What is an SSN? Student Support Number

I am currently completing my online enrolment for my course at uni and they are asking for this. It is to do with SFE. All I have is a customer reference number, is this the same thing? I am yet to receive any information on my loan

Hi there,

The Student Support Number (SSN) is a different one than your reference number.

So, when your application is approved you'll be sent an entitlement letter and this will also contain your SSN.

At the moment, is your application just waiting to be approved?

Thanks, Graeme

Hi there. Your SSN (Student Support Number) is separate from your Customer Reference Number (CRN). You may not have one generated yet until you receive your award letter. If you need to discuss another way to enrol online you would need to discuss this with the university. Thanks, Leah.
