I'm about to start my studies in Building Surveying and I'm trying to decide between purchasing a MacBook or an iPad. I would love to hear your thoughts and experiences!

Which device do you think would be more beneficial and efficient for my coursework? I'm particularly interested in what works best for note-taking, handling technical drawings, multitasking, and any other specific needs that come with studying Building Surveying. If you've used either (or both!) for similar studies, I'd really appreciate your insights on how they supported your learning.

I'd be inclined to go for a MacBook with a USB drawing tablet, you can pick up both for less than the price of an 11" iPad Pro. That way you get the advantages of a dedicated drawing surface combined with the functionality of a proper laptop.
