UCL Bsc Psychology Timetable

Hello all, I'm a first year studying psych at UCL. I just recieved an email with my timetable, and this might be a stupid question but on my timetable it says 'drop-in (optional)' for the intro to statistical methods module on one of the slots. What does this mean? Will it have any impact if I don't attend?

No, I believe the drop in session are for if you have any questions or need clarifications outside of regular class time. They are optional, so you don’t have to attend them

On monday and tuesdays it also says peer group from 6-7pm for intro to stats - what does this mean, is it a lecture? Also when will we be given the rooms for the lectures and stuff?

Ooh not sure abt that one (also undergrad, but I asked abt the drop-in sessions at a campus tour)

Ahh that's okay! Gosh these timetables are confusing the heck out of me 😭 I assume we'll be given our full timetables once we choose modules. What are you studying??
