Need Money. HELP!!!

Alright ill just give you the rundown.
Im 16 going into y12 this year and I need some way to get money in order to buy the things i need for sixth form like stationary and uniform.
I went into this summer with my head set on making money so i could both spend it during the summer on outings /clothes and buy the stuff i needed for y12.
I tried to get a summer job by emailing local places and applying on job websites like gumtree and cv library but it has not been successful. As of recently, Ive been trying to resell things i have and have gotten for free just to get a little bit of money but that also hasnt done quite well.
Now that summers over and school is approaching I just need any advice people may have on what I should do.

Have you considered looking at the college's bursary if they have one?

If they don't, then I recommend looking into networking your way into jobs; applying for jobs is usually a game of attrition and a lot of applications (a numbers game). Networking can usually get you through the process a lot quicker.

The top areas most people apply for include jobs in:

Catering

Care homes

Supermarkets

Retail

However, you can sometimes find work in other sectors and roles, including call centres, office work (if you're lucky), trades, IT repair shop. As someone with just GCSEs, you can apply for 200+ different jobs (more like careers though) - the problem is that not a lot of them offer part time work or work for students.

Buying and reselling is difficult to make money from, even if you are very good at it. It's also technically a business, and if you're under 18 setting this up will likely require legal counsel.
