GDL optional modules - banking or company law?

Hi there,

I’ve signed up to a part-time gdl (I’m planning on a career change to law, specifically interested in city law firms). I’ll be doing it via evening classes while working full-time.

I can pick two optional modules (1 each year - it’s a two year course).

I plan on doing competition law in the second year and have narrowed down my options to banking and monetary law or company law. Banking sounds more interesting and links to economics (my current profession).

Is either better for a city law firm? Or will they not really care?

Thanks,
Ryan

They won't care.
