How to stop blushing

Whenever I talk to someone random, a friend, or sometimes for no reason at all, I blush. I try not to think about it but it's difficult, feeling your face become all warm. It's even worse because I have red cheeks already, so people think I'm blushing when I'm not. I've only been self-conscious recently of it, but I used to blush a lot when I was younger too, so I don't think not thinking about will solve the problem.
I'm a guy, and neither of these things seem masculine or good to have, it's a curse.
Please, if you have any advice, I'd love to hear it.
Hi,

I understand what you mean as I can be like this too. Blushing is actually happening because the body is stressed can also happen with embarrassment and anxiety also. What usually helps me when I feel like I'm going to or am blushing is taking slow, deep breaths. Mine would be more anxiety. I know when I'm going to mostly and that always makes me worse as I'm self conscious about it so I stress out more which makes me blush more. Blushing is an involuntary response so we don't really have control over it but if its due to anxiety, stress etc deep breaths help me massively.

I hope this was of some help to you.
