6th form application rant

**Just a small rant it may take a while to read**

So, I since year 7-GCSEs I attended a secondary school which I hated. It was really far for me and everyone was quite rude and I only had a small friend group of 2 really close friends. My secondary school was also quite high achieving and the environment was really hostile from everyone.

Back in December I applied for a really good collage which is really close to me and quite high achieving and I was waitlisted. This was annoying but it was most likely because my school didn't have predicted grades and just sent my mock results and my school enjoys giving extremely difficult tests and really difficult grade boundaries as these were the schools mocks so I only achieved 6s and 7s mostly like the majority of this school.

On GCSE results day I got my results of all 8s and 9s which is quite standard for my current school. The majority of people usually continue to thr 6th form however one of my friends is leaving and the other was waitlisted like me. Ive been on waitlist really hoping to get in and today my friend was even tho I was closer and I got an average of 1 grade higher than him.

The college starts tomorrow and I really want to get in as it would be perfect for me, but I havent got a place yet and I am really stressed because as well as me most likely having to go to the 6th form I hate, I learnt today I have to do it without my 2 best friends and I am stuck with a bunch of people I dont like in a really far away school.

Im also just really frustrated that I tried so hard in my GCSEs and it honestly didnt help my to get into the collage and my college had put me on the waitlist saying that many people get in thru the waitlist and after doing the best I could've possibly have done, they have just led me on for nothing.
