Econ without FM

I want to do economics at uni, but I can’t do further maths because my school only allows people with a 9 at GCSE and I got an 8. I know unis like LSE and Oxbridge are very unlikely to accept me, but will it be okay for other unis? Do I have any chance with those, like at all? I’m doing maths, geography and economics for a levels  my gcse grades are basically all 8s (except one six in art). Thank you!

Yeah, you're fine for other unis. It depends which ones specifically though. Check the entry requirements of the specific degrees that you want to do to be sure.

Do note, you always have the option of doing FM on the side as a private candidate.
