artist's muse

so I've been wanting to ask a friend to be my muse for a while. she's really nice to me and we have common interests but idk if that's asking too much. I'm not sure how close she would consider us... do you think it's worth asking? because I can't think of anyone else I'd want to be my muse. how should I approach her on this? I also feel pretty guilty because I haven't talked to her for a while and I didn't go on the end of school trip with her because I was feeling terrible but I still feel bad. I'm probably overthinking but I'd appreciate any advice or questions.

A muse is an inspiration, so you don't need to ask her anything. What were you thinking of doing with her?

Presumably you want her to model for you? It's not a creepy thing to ask, although it might surprise her. That's assuming you're just doing a normal painting, of course.
