Park View Newcastle - parent query!

Hello

My daughter is starting at Newcastle this year (2024) and has a room in the Park View self catering halls. As an over thinking parent, I'm struggling to work out whether the kitchens in these cluster flats have all the required cutlery, crockery, cooking implements etc, or she needs to bring her own. Advice very much welcome from anyone who has had a room there in the past please!

Thanks,
Tom

Hi @tomgee

Bedding and soft furnishings are not included in your daughter's room. All our accommodation is self-catered, and they will have access to an equipped kitchen. Your daughter will need to bring their own crockery, cutlery, utensils and pots and pans. They can pre-order bedding and kitchen essentials from UniKitOut. Simply select the items your daughter needs and UniKitOut will deliver these straight to us before their arrival. Alternatively, we are a city centre university, with many shops nearby that they would be able to purchase these items from.

Hope this helps
