Hi,

On Section 12 of the PN1 your Father can put his income there, that's the PFF2 form. If his income is from the UK we do not require evidence of his income.

Thanks,
Ross

Hi Ariana, she'd still support the application and fill out the relevant sections - we assess this based on the full household income. If she didn't work in 22/23 then we'd update this accordingly. Thanks, Jason

Okay thanks!
So my 2023 application which was withdrawn because of not attending says cancelled now . I then reapplied for 2024 ( different uni) the application was processing for a long time since , SF said I was supposed to apply as a new student and not a continuing student. I could not apply as a new student since the application was processing SF told me.
So I could do a PN1 form .
The application for 2024 says cancelled now .
1)So can I apply online , make a new application ? or just do the pn1 form
2) if i do the PN1 form it asks for my CRN when signing the terms and conditions and for my parents .Do I make a new account to get a new CRN?

Hi Ariana,

You can certainly try re-applying again, but it sounds like the system may be forcing you to re-apply as a returning student rather than a new one. So, there's no harm in trying, but it may be best to send the PN1 regardless.

You don't need to include your parents' CRNs if you don't know the number, that's completely fine.

Thanks, Graeme

Q1)how about my CRN to sign the terms and conditions on the form ? i have one from a previous account the but applications are cancelled on that account ,should i use it or make another account to get a CRN for the PN1

Q2) for secction 10 is says Only complete this section if you want to apply for Parents’ Learning Allowance, Childcare Grant or Adult Dependants’ Grant., I did complete it but ticked no for the questions should I cross it out?I I don’t want to apply for any of it , was I supposed to leave it blank? I didn’t read the first part oops.

Q3). For section 8 I am N/A for all the questions .but for B1 do I tick no even though I don’t have an employer ?

Hi Ariana,

You will only ever have one Customer Reference number for us so it would still be the same number from your cancelled app. If you do not have children you can leave that section blank. You would only include employers details if they were releasing you to go study.

Thanks, Drew

Hi Arian,

If you have said no then you can still submit it with the details as we will not assess you for it.

Thanks, Drew

Hi for section 12 my dad is confused when doing the child dependent section . I have a brother who is 16 that’s doing a level 3 Teaching assistant apprenticeship that also does depend on my dad but the question asks for the school or college . Should he write the school of the place where he is doing his apprenticeship?Or should he skip that section

Yes, you would put down the provider he is doing the apprenticeship with. Thanks, Leah.

Oh thanks! It also asks if he gets financial support from an authority /organisation . Would this include his apprenticeship as he does get paid?

Would this be classed as his own salary? Thanks, Leah.
