Unable to Enroll in the courses I want.

Hi All. I have just completed the enrollement process for Glasgow Uni. The subject I hold an offer for is Politics, alongside this I was wanting to take Economic and Social History, and Social and Public Policy. I had figuered all the times and classes out so that nothing clashed, but when I went to enroll, it registered my politics classes but failed with the ESH and SPP ones. The message it gave was "Spaces on this course are reserved, you are unable to enrol. Spaces are reserved for students who have mandatory courses. Please select an alternative class section option." Does this mean there is no chance of me getting into these subjects at all?, both of them have only one option for Lectutres as they are small courses so Im not sure if theres a chance of switching specific classes either.

(Edit) Just to clarify all three subjects had spaces in the classes I was trying to take. none of them were full

Have you tried asking the UoG help desk? I was having the same issue and from what I understood from their reply is that the seats remaining are reserved for those who have these classes as a part of their degree, if there are remaining spaces left after their enrollment you might get a chance

Yeah I used the live chat on the Enrolement Help Desk, worked out really well as the person gave me the email of the heads of both courses, and after reaching out they added me to both courses.

i am having this same problem and it is freaking me out icl, I still wasnt certain about the courses i wanted to do so probably left it a bit too late but all the people i know who go to glasgow said they enrolled when they arrived at uni and still got onto all the courses they wanted so i had no idea it would be this stressful.
