So I am going to start yr12 in September in Birmingham and right now I am between two schools. Currently I have just enrolled at UCB Sixth Form, and from what I have seen it's fine, the main problem I would probably have with it its having to be at school from 8.30am to 3pm, Monday through Friday, which I feel like it would exhaust me as I know this schedule did for GCSE. Mainly because I know that when I would get home I wouldn't be in mood to revise and I lowkey have a problem with procrastination. Benefits of it though would be that I have already enrolled and got my ID card and its relatively close to where I live.
However, my close friend is thinking about attending Halesowen college to which I have also applied and could enroll to, which is about 40-50 minutes from me. On the other hand, it would give me more time outside of the actual school, with free lessons where I could actually leave the campus with my friend as well as not exhaust me as much.
Right now I am unsure on which school to actually stick to. The one closer to me but knowing no one and having to be there with no free lessons but I have already enrolled and got my ID card or the one where I would have free lessons, be allowed to leave campus and also have my friend which would help me morally too but its further from me?
I know it might seem as not a very hard decision but for some reason its causing me some trouble mentally so any suggestions would be helpful 🙏.
