Open Study College

Does anyone know if the open study college is legit? my brother doesn’t seem to think that it is, as there’s no exam boards listed and he can’t find it on ucas. i wanted to do the fashion styling course and hopefully get to do a university course on a similar or the same subject but just a little weary about the actual college itself

It's legit, but it depends on which qualifications you are going for.

If you want to do a fashion design degree (why?) you would need qualifications like A Levels, BTEC, IB, etc. Open Study College do provide A Levels.
If on the other hand you're going for some random Level 3 certificate in fashion styling, it's not likely going to cut it for uni admissions. If it's just to expand your knowledge, then it's a fine course just like any other, but just don't expect to go to uni with it.

I would suggest looking at the entry requirements of the specific degree that you want to do before you look at further qualifications at any college (online or offline).
