Do a level grades matter when applying for postgraduate studies?

I got ccc for my A levels and a B in my epq which I was quite disappointed about however I was still able to get into uni with these grades to study law.

After my undergraduate I was planning to do a masters in law and move to a better uni so I was wondering if my a level grades would matter as much when applying to better unis or if I would stand a chance for unis such as kings or oxbridge.

It certainly didn't impact my progression, although I work more in mental health/psychology. I got ACC in my A Levels, went to a lesser known university for my BSc, and now I'm studying in London (Kings) for my MSc

I'd say check out some example courses for a Masters, to see if they request any specific grades in selection processes. For example, I'd like to do a DClinPsy (PhD), and due to competitiveness some unis do examine A Level grades to help thin down some numbers 😟

Can’t speak for every uni but broadly, no, no impact.
