should i do as/a level further maths in one year?

i'm going into Y13 and want to apply for Physics, so i'm wondering if it is worth it to hire a tutor and do further maths privately in one year? I've started some online courses on futher topics but i'm wondering if it is better to just take the exam? if so AS or A Level?? my current a levels are Phyiscs chem and maths btw

I haven't even started my A levels yet so I can't help you much, but here's my opinion.
As far as I know you can definitely do A level physics without any further maths, if that's what you're asking.
Hiring a tutor for an A level can get very expensive fast. You could teach yourself using online materials or a book but it would be more work.
If you take the exam probably go for AS level because if you haven't even finished your maths A level yet a further maths A level will be very difficult. It builds off of the maths A level, I think.

Just keep in mind that I don't really know what I'm talking about. Hope this helped though.

haha thanks for trying to help🙂 but i'm more worried about whether the workload is manageable maybe based on how the exams etc are . good luck with your a levels they're not too scary if you just keep up with revision from the start
