Starting Second Term

Hello! Is it possible at any university in the UK to start school second term? I am particularly interested in Durham and Greenwich but I am open to suggestions. I want to study film, history, and primary education. I graduated at 17 and my visa will not be ready for the fall semester. I would love to go soon though.

Hiya,

I can't speak for other universities but to my knowledge no, term starts in Sept/Oct at Durham (and most unis tbh) and at Durham, its Michaelmas term. However, if you won't be arriving until term 2 (epiphany term) you can still keep up as lectures are recorded and uploaded on learn ultra as well as reading lists and information about summatives/formative assessments. 🙂

What specific course are you interested in at Durham?

Hi,

Like Durham Students have said, I cannot speak for other universities but for the majority of undergraduate course at York St John, you have to start in semester/term 1(September/October). However, there is no harm in speaking to the admissions team, to see whether this would be possible for you and the type of course you are applying for.
