can i take 3 A-levels at college and 1 A-level privatley at home?

I am going to be starting college next week and I'm taking physics, biology and statistics, i wanted to take maths but they wont let me because i got a 6 at GCSE and not a 7, i need maths A-level to do engineering at uni so i want to do my 3 A-levels at college and teach myself the maths and pay to take the maths A-level privately. is this possible?

you can, but i wouldn’t tell them about it as you likely signed an agreement which says you dedicate all your time to full time study with them, and they might make an unnecessary fuss (happened to me with another qualification i wanted to do alongside my a levels) maybe check another local sixth form/college to see if they take private candidates. i think it should be around £100 ish quid to sit the exams . I’m not sure about this in regards to UCAS though, as your school provides evidence/references and predicted grades. If I was you, I’d get a tutor/find someone who can vouch for you and provide written evidence to your school saying oh they’re likely to get this grade and just do it anyways. Make sure you stay on top of your A Levels in sixth form so they dont have an issue and maybe they’ll let you attend some a level maths classes. hope this helps
