Uni freshers week

i bought freshers tickets in april this year before i heard allllllll the posts telling me that it was a scam. the tickets said they were refundable however there’s nowhere to apply for a refund or contact support, as i bought them from fatsoma who don’t have any power over the tickets apparently. the ticket i have has a barcode that can apparently get me into 3 events, do i still go to the events or will they be unsafe/not accept the tickets? any advice is appreciated thank you ☺️

Hi,

The tickets will work, but from my own experience they're really not worth it and you are much better off refunding them. The price might seem cheap, but in reality you're paying way too much for a night you can get free elsewhere in the city you are studying in. Additionally, you're unlikely to go to each event they host.

The events themselves aren't worth it if you do show up, we were offered "Free hoodies" or "Free Light-Up Wands", we never got them.

I would refund them and save the money you spent on a few extra drinks elsewhere.

thank you! the tickets say that the organisers aren’t accepting refunds even tho it says on the ts&cs that refunds will be available, some of the info on the tickets say 5 events like the heading says access to 5 events whereas the details only list 3 events so overall it’s just really confusing and weird😂🤦*♀️
