how much revision I did to achieve these grades

Maths- 9, every single past paper 1,2,3. did around 20 hours.
Biology- 9, around 2 past papers per paper plus reading through the cgp textbook- about 8 hours
Physics- 9 really wanted to get a 9 in this so I did every past paper and read textbook- took about 15 hours
RS-9, read through the textbook- 3 hours
Chemistry- 8, read through the textbook, 2 past papers, about 5 hours
History- 8, read through the textbook, heavy ass textbook so took me about 5 hours
Business- 8, read the textbook the lunch time before the exams- 2 hours
French- 8, none
Eng lit- 7, never read any of the books so had to read those first and watch some bald man yap on youtube- i think around 10 hours
Eng lang- 6, none
Further Maths- 6 unfortunately my school forced me to sit this even though i told them a million times I didn't, none

For essay based subjects (other than english I don't know how I fumbled so badly) all you need to do is present a point, and argue as if your life depends on it, then repeat it and end it with a conclusion with alternate interpretations. That is literally what I did for RS, history and business and got A*s.
Overall they were so much better than I expected as i revised the night before for half the exams but for any ongoing yr 11 students please start early or you might not be as lucky as me. Also I did all the work in the lessons so if you do not **** about you could pretty much be set with literally no revision.

well done on your results!! I'm starting year 11 on wednesday, when do you think I should start revising? (I have mocks in nov/dec) also, where did you find the past papers?

Honestly I got all 7s in mocks with no revision and I find them extremely pointless. if your school has a sixth form/college requirement try to get the bare minimum or else you'll be burnt out. from personal experience as I said, if you want results similar to mine or better you should start maximum 2 months prior (before that you will forget all content).

past papers r really easy to find especially in physicsandmathstutor
