how to leave home ??
im a girl, 17 and i want to move out or run away or just leave home asap. im stuck in the house with oppressive and very strict parents and its affecting me pretty badly. i cant find a job and everywhere ive applied to have not accepted or responded but i will try again obvs, but financing will be hard. im still in sixth form and im starting y13 in a week and 18 in january but i rlly dont know what to do or where to go without getting caught and honestly how this will even work. maybe waiting until 18 is better but i dont see how that helps... does anyone with a similar experience have any advice or what to do? xx

you can get emancipated after 16 but that requires parental permission. If you really think you are in danger staying there I think you should explain your situation to the council or police x
me too im 17 and i wanna move out. i feel like an outsider at home and all my family hate me
I’m in the same situation. That’s why I can’t wait to either go to uni or find an apprenticeship elsewhere so I can move out.

Can you give a little bit more context to the situation? I know someone who is in a similar situation so I might be able to help.
It really depends on the exact reason for you needing to run away from home for me to be able to tell you what options you have.
