A level subjects advice

Is economics, maths and sociology a good combo? What kind of degrees could I do with them? Would it be worth changing sociology for a more essay based subject like English lit? I would love to go into international relations, but I’m indecisive and would like to explore my options

I think its a good combo. But i am not knowledgable on what degrees you can do woth this, this would be useful to research and see whatt type of field/. Job you want to go into in the future and then do more research on it.
As long as you feel comfortable with your choices it is good. If you like sociology thwn go for sociology but if like english lit them do that. Dont change a subject just cause of essay based reasons unless you really like to do essays and would prefer english lit because of essays . Maybe check with your teachers or reasearch cause i think sociology also has essays. Also if you want to go into international relations then research. To see if your subjects match with uni degrees.

There are usually no specific A level subjects required for social science degrees like Politics, IR, Sociology, Social Policy etc. Some top Unis may require 'an essay based subject' for skills, but you do not need to have taken A level Politics to do a Politics degree for example.

Pick the three A level subjects that you will enjoy studying - because that is where you are most likely to get good grades. Do not worry about what 'looks good'.

Look at the 'entry requirements' on individual course pages - examples :
Undergraduate prospectus : Undergraduate study : Politics Department : University of Sussex
A-Z of undergraduate courses | Undergraduate study | Loughborough University (lboro.ac.uk)
