This is as an international student
Grades in what? Different countries have different qualification and grading systems, "89s and 28s" doesn't really mean anything in a vacuum.

UK medical schools are very transparent about their requirements and shortlisting methodologies, and usually include detailed information about international qualifications they accept and the expected grade levels for that qualification as well. You should check the individual medical schools as a first step.

Note in the UK there are government imposed quotas on the number of medical school places available with only a smaller quota allotted for international students. It is consequently much more competitive for international students as there are more people applying for fewer places on the course from the international student pool.
